Daniel Cohnitz

Pages 240 - 242

Henry Nelson Goodman (1906–1998) ranks among the most influential American philosophers of the latter half of the twentieth century. Goodman had wide-ranging philosophical interests: from formal logic and the philosophy of science to the philosophy of art. He made significant and highly original contributions to all of these diverse fields (see Cohnitz and Rossberg 2006).
